Key Responsibilities:

Equipment and Inventory Management:

Qualifications:

  • Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) certification.
  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or related field.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant horticultural or landscaping cert's.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Knowledge of local plant species and landscaping techniques.
  • Experience in project planning and scheduling.

*Tree Climber

As a Tree Climber, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of trees and providing expert tree care services. You'll be responsible for performing a range of tree-related tasks, from pruning and trimming to removal and emergency services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely climb trees to inspect, prune, and remove branches.
  • Use a variety of tools and equipment, including ropes, harnesses, and chainsaws.
  • Diagnose tree health issues and recommend appropriate care or treatments.
  • Collaborate with ground crew and other team members to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and industry best practices at all times.
  • Communicate with clients to address their tree care needs and concerns.
  • Complete work orders, reports, and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain and repair tree care equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Tree Climber with a strong understanding of arboriculture practices.
  • Proficiency in safe tree climbing techniques and the use of specialised equipment.
